Visual Designer of User Interface (Web designer) position
We are looking for an experienced lead web designer with outstanding visual skills to create visual, interaction, and web design for our application. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing highly useable, high volume end-user web applications. The designer will be familiar with the LAMP technology stack, and be able to effectively work with the development team to achieve rapid high quality results.
Responsibilites: • Create visually appealing GU interfaces and lead all design efforts • Take ideas and turn them into static mockups, then into a living webpage • Collaborate with management and development team on ideas and possibilities • Improve the usability of the application based on user and management feedback • Build and lead a design team as business requirements dictate • Work with the QA department to solve usability issues
Required Skills: • Advanced skills in visual design, information architecture, and user interface • Command of leading design software • Solid understanding of the web design and internet technologies • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a visual format • 5+ years related work experience designing SaaS applications • 2+ years experience designing for LAMP technology implementation
